"Skydivers Away!"

News Fash!!!

Alaska Sky Sports is now closed for the 2011 Season!

Due to airplane issues, Alaska Sky Sports has closed our doors early this season.

The Twin Bonanza is now out of commission, and we don't expect it to be fixed before the snow flies.

We want to thank everyone who came out and supported us, especially through the rough times!  This has been a pretty tough season.  The loss of the 206, the limited use of the Twin Bonanza, and the untimely weather, caused some extreme frustration for all involved!

If you didn't get to jump this season, please don't give up on skydiving!  Come out starting next May and try again!  Watch for updates on this website.

And, everyone who has jumped with us, or tried to jump with us this year, is invited to our End of Season Party, just please be sure and RSVP, by calling 360-8338 or emailing akskydiving@hotmail.com

As a safety reminder for up jumpers, Alaska Sky Sports does not allow hook turns on landing, we require AADs, and please, while practicing all safety procedures, remember to plan your skydive, and skydive your plan, always spacing yourselves tracking away and looking out for each other under canopy.   Alaska Sky Sports skydiving club members need to always be aware that safety comes first!  

We will still honor last season's jump tickets and our discounted rates for groups of 4 or more and for our active military people!  ($25 off your first tandem)
